DWTS’ Alan Bersten Dishes on Steamy Onstage Kiss With Emma Slater

“Dancing With the Stars” pros Alan Bersten and Emma Slater shared a passionate onstage kiss on the last night of the 2025 DWTS tour. Bersten isn’t kissing and telling too much about their relationship, however.

During their performance at the last stop of the “Dancing With the Stars” tour in April, Bersten and Slater had a steamy onstage moment when they kissed.

Of course, the move fueled romance rumors. For now, Bersten shares that they are happy just “enjoying” their relationship.

In an interview with E! News, the dancer explained, “We’re just enjoying life together. No pressure there, but we’re just enjoying it.”

Bersten added, “We’re both professionals. So, we’re going to keep it professional. I’m just excited for season 34.”

Fans React to Emma & Alan’s Kiss

The couple’s hard launch on the DWTS tour stage definitely has fans excited.

In one Reddit discussion about the couple’s kiss, fans shared their reaction to seeing Bersten and Slater finally making it official.

“I know we’ve had this tea for years but it’s wild to see the actual hard launch,” one person noted.

Another fan commented, “Finally. 😍😘 Now let’s stop with all the speculation with this couple and let them live and love in peace.”

One person pointed to the timing of their smooch on the final night of the tour, saying “it makes sense that they’d do it on the last night, it limits the interactions they have with the fans after hard launching.”

Another fan noted, “We all knew this but I’m glad they are happy!”

Many others weighed in on the moment, with comments including, “They look so happy and in love, ” “They look happy and are cute together. Good for them,” and “OMG finally!! So happy that they’re happy.”

One person who wasn’t surprised by the moment was “DWTS” host Alfonso Ribeiro. At Disney’s Get Real event in April, Ribeiro told People “there was no surprise” about the couple’s “connection.”

“Emma’s my sister and she’s at my house several times a week,” he shared. “So, clearly, my household knew what was going on. We just didn’t know that they had made the decision to launch.”

Ribeiro continued, “At the end of the day, [I’m] happy for them. When people find something that they enjoy — enjoy it, live it. Why live a lie?”

He added, “I think that people were already [speculating about the romance]” so the timing of their hard launch made sense.
