DWTS Alum Admits She’s on Dating App: But Has No Interest in Dating

It’s been just under a year since WWE star Nikki Bella and “Dancing With the Stars” pro Artem Chigvintsev called it quits. While she wiped her Instagram clean after their divorce was finalized, Nikki still hasn’t quite been ready to begin a fresh new relationship.

She sat down with the podcast, “What Do You Wanna Talk About With Cody Rhodes,” to discuss her stance on dating apps, and what she’d want in a partner — if she were looking for one.

Nikki Just Wants Someone To Text

“I signed up for Raya,” Nikki began telling Cody on his podcast. He quickly stopped her and exclaimed, “Hold up! Talk me through everything you just said.”

“You know, Raya, the app?” Nikki asked him. He didn’t, so she described what it is.

“It’s a dating app, but for people in the industry,” she explained. “So you submit your information, but you have to give your Instagram account; you need to have referrals. So in your contacts, you can see who’s a part of it.”

“I was not going to ever do a dating app, but then, since I’ve been back on the road, and it kind of gets lonely in hotel rooms,” she continued. “Not that I’d ever want to be on Tinder, but I think it’d just be fun to text people.”

Cody informed her that she couldn’t be on Tinder anyway, because there were probably already several fake “Nikki Bella” accounts on there.

“Yeah, I would never do any of that stuff,” Nikki told him. “But then I was like, ‘Raya could be fun.’ We’re not sliding into people’s DMs to ask people out, and I don’t want to date in Napa at all.”

“I don’t want to date at all, to tell you the truth,” she added.

For Now, Nikki is Happy With Just One Male in Her Life

While Nikki is adamant that she’s not quite ready to date, she does have an idea of what she’d like in a partner in about three years.

“I’ve always loved a businessman that has swag,” she said. “I don’t like just straight-up business; there needs to be a cool vibe.”

But until that distant future, Nikki is perfectly content being a mom and spending time with her son.

“I don’t want anything serious for years,” she said. “I don’t want anything to interfere with my son and I. I don’t want my son to meet anyone; I just want him to have his mom and his dad, that’s it. I think that’s healthy for him right now.”
