Amanda Kloots just hard launched her relationship with tennis pro Justin Gimelstob in a very glamorous way. The recently paired up duo stepped onto a Beverly Hills red carpet on April 28, 2025 to attend a breast cancer fundraising event for the Women’s Cancer Research Fund.
In an April 29 report, People shared exclusive intel from Kloots and Gimelstob after they dished about the new matchup. The 43-year-old described her budding relationship as “very new” and “absolutely lovely.” She told the mag she and Gimelstob are still in the “courting phase,” and the retired tennis player chimed in that he hopes they never leave it. He dished that Kloots first caught his eye at a Las Vegas Formula 1 race, and he took her on their first date 18 months later.
The Delaware native went on to call his new girlfriend “an incredibly special person” and amazing mother. Kloots is a mom to one son, Elvis, who was born in 2019.
“She cares about people. She’s generous in spirit. She has a beautiful energy and is an amazing athlete,” he said of the former Radio City Rockette.
Amanda Kloots Finished Fourth on ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Kloots competed on season 30 of “DWTS,” which aired in 2021. She was partnered with Alan Bersten, who was crowned the season 28 champion with season 15 “Bachelorette” Hannah Brown. The “Ted 2” actress made headlines after her run on the show by calling her partner “very mean,” saying he would push her during rehearsals to the point of a breakdown. However, there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between the former dance partners, as Kloots clarified in an Instagram post, “I love @alanbersten very much!”
“Alan helped me tremendously with healing and grief and finding my love for dance again,” wrote the former ballet dancer. She added that she was “forever grateful” to him, and praised the bond she says they created.
