Season 28 “Dancing With the Stars” champ Hannah Brown has reunited with her pro partner Alan Bersten! On January 13, Brown shared a video of her and Bersten dancing together on her Instagram Stories.
“Muscle memory definitely kicked in more than I was expecting,” Brown captioned the post. Brown and Bersten also shared a joint post from the studio.
“Dusted off the dance shoes for a day,” Brown captioned the Instagram video.
She and Bersten appeared to be rehearsing for an upcoming joint appearance at the Snow Ball Red Carpet Gala. The two are set to perform at the upcoming event, which will take place on Thursday, January 23, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The gala is part of a four-day dance competition hosted by Bersten, his brother, Gene, and his sister-in-law, Elena.
Hannah Brown Was Announced as Part of the Gala on January 2
A couple of weeks ago, the Snow Ball Gala’s official Instagram page announced that Brown would be making a special appearance at the event.
“We are so excited to have @dancingwiththestars season 28 champion @hannahbrown perform at our Red Carpet Gala,” an Instagram caption posted on January 2 read. “Limited space available, you don’t want to miss it,” the caption continued.
Overall, fans were excited to hear that Brown and Bersten would be reuniting for the gala.
“No way! That’s awesome,” one person wrote.
“I would love to see it all…but my prior commitment to UK doesn’t allow me…Best of Luck with everything you guys are doing in Minneapolis,” someone else said.
Sharna Burgess & Joe Amabile Will Be at the Competition
Bersten called on some of his other “Dancing With the Stars” pals for the upcoming dance competition, including pro Sharna Burgess and season 27 alum, Joe Amabile (aka Grocery Store Joe).
According to an Instagram post, Burgess will be on-hand Saturday night while Amabile will join the group on Sunday night.
The weekend will consist of various competitions in Latin and ballroom dance. On the final day of competition, students may win awards, many of which carry cash prizes.
“Closed Bronze and Closed Silver dancers compete in the Best of the Best Challenge in their age division. Winners in each style and age division have a dance-off against other age divisions in that style to determine the overall winner who will participate in the Grand Finale Challenge at Ohio Star Ball,” reads the competition’s official website.
The weekend will end with a “student appreciation party” on Sunday evening.
