DWTS Fans Offer Lindsay Arnold Prayers & Words of Encouragement Ahead of Surgery

Former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Lindsay Arnold was “nervous” ahead of her breast augmentation and lift surgery. The ballroom pro and mother of two was preparing to go under the knife after wanting to do so for many years. Her surgery was scheduled for January 14.

“I actually can’t wrap my brain around that. I get home tonight, surgery is tomorrow. I’m kind of nervous, I’m not gonna lie. I’m so excited, like not nervous to have them done, but just nervous about the whole procedure,” Arnold said in a TikTok video shared on January 13.

Arnold explained that she’s “never had surgery before,” which is where her anxiety comes into play, but admitted that she was “very excited” nonetheless.

Arnold has posted to her Instagram Stories today. She did a workout before heading to the hospital and let her followers know that she will share an update when she can.

Many fans commented on Arnold’s TikTok, letting her know that they’re thinking about her and wishing her well as she prepares to go under the knife.

“I feel like doing surgery after a vacation is such a good idea! You’re relaxed and (usually) in a good headspace,” one person wrote.

“Praying for a safe surgery for you,” someone else said.

“Good luck tomorrow! You’ll do great!” a third comment read.

“Give yourself grace in the recovery process! I had one and have a super high pain tolerance but it was much harder to recover than I thought. You’ll love the results!!” a fourth TikTok user added.

Lindsay Arnold Explained Her Decision to Have Breast Surgery

Arnold shared her decision to have a breast augmentation back in December 2024.

“My Christmas present this year is that I’m getting a breast augmentation,” she said on TikTok. “Guys, I’m freaking out … but I’m also so excited. That is happening in, like, a little over two weeks,” she added.

“I am turning 31 on January 11, and Sam and I are going to Mexico for a little getaway. We’re doing three nights and then we get home, and the next day, I am getting my breast augmentation. I am also getting a lift,” she shared.

In another TikTok, Arnold said that she had originally wanted to wait until she was done having children before having the surgery, but she changed her mind.

In a video shared on December 27, Arnold said that she and Cusick will likely try for a baby this year.
