DANCING With the Stars is ‘in talks’ with a famous Twilight actor, a fan-favorite from Traitors, and an ‘extremely controversial’ reality star for season 34, The U.S. Sun can reveal.
While some of the cast members for this upcoming season have already been finalized and publicly announced, others are still in the works as last-minute additions.
An insider spilled to The U.S. Sun that Twilight werewolf, Taylor Lautner, has been in negotiations to secure a spot on the season 34 cast - and may even be joined by his wife, Tay.
“Taylor is one of the top people they want for this next season. They're in talks with it now and finalizing everything.
“There’s a chance his wife Tay could join too since they've become such a public figure as a duo with their podcast and wellness company.
“Taylor is the focus though, with his background and stunt experience, he'd be a force on the ballroom but they are interested in both Taylor and Tay.
“He's wholesome and young with a great attitude but is also very athletic and ripped. He's the full package, he'd be a great get if they can close the deal.
“She's beloved too and has become close with some of the pro dancers so it's a nice fit.
“It's been her dream to do the show for years so Taylor is more so agreeing to go along with it to help make Tay's dream come true,” the source claimed.
Another get the producers are attempting to hire is a bit more controversial.
Savannah Chrisley, 27, is apparently being eyed fresh off the news that Donald Trump pardoned her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, from their years-long prison sentence after being convicted of defrauding banks of over $30 million.
"Savannah Chrisley is also in talks. She's been in talks in previous seasons but it just hasn't worked out.
“Producers know she will be an extremely controversial pick and not everyone is on board with her but as they've shown in the past, they are not afraid of controversy.
“They enjoy casting choices that get people talking. Given the recent news with her parents, Savannah would definitely be a choice that gets a lot of buzz,” the source alleged.

The insider also revealed that there’s one person that viewers were most likely hoping to see after his Traitors performance went viral however, the Survivor legend already declined the role.
"They approached Boston Rob [Mariano]. After The Traitors hype he was another top name.
“They would've loved to have both him and Dylan Efron on the season but Rob declined. DWTS isn't his style and he has his own projects in the works he is focusing on.”
Despite Rob, 49, passing on the opportunity, Zac Efron’s younger brother, Dylan, 33, may still put on his dancing shoes.
“Dylan is still in the running though, he's not counted out yet. They are desperately trying to pull in younger viewers.
“These guys mixed with the influencers and reality stars will, they're hoping, get some more gen Z interest,” they said.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to the DWTS team for comment.
