DWTS pro Gleb Savchenko admits to ‘needing a break’ from his co-stars after being ‘stuck’ on tour with them for months-uyenn

DANCING With the Stars' Gleb Savchenko has opened up about taking a break from his co-stars after their 64-stop tour in an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun.

Gleb, 40, wrapped the DWTS Live 2024 Tour at the end of March after the multi-city show kicked off in early January.

Prior to this, the Russia native was part of Season 32 of DWTS with partner Mira Sorvino, but was sent home week five.

Gleb admitted to The U.S. Sun that he needs a "break" from his co-stars, especially having been by each other's side these past few months.

"I'm in touch with them. We just finished a month ago, so we all want a little break," he confessed.

"We were stuck on one bus for four months altogether, so we don't want to see each other, but we still connect."

In fact, Gleb invited his co-stars to watch him as he hosts Chippendales for a limited engagement in Las Vegas.

Emma Slater, Britt Stewart and Ezra Sosa showed up in Sin City over the May 4th weekend to support their pal as he stripped onstage.

Despite being uncertain about whether he'll be asked back to return to DWTS Season 33 - the cast does not normally find out until weeks before the fall premiere - he did say that he's not ready to hang up his ballroom shoes just yet.

When asked if he would quit DWTS to pursue a career like Chippendales fulltime, he said that he would love to do both.

The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed earlier this year that hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will be returning.

As far as the pro dancers returning to the ABC and Disney+ show, their fate is unknown until the "last week of August," per Gleb.

He also insisted he doesn't know for sure but suggested there could be changes.

"A friend of mine just said it to me yesterday, 'The show will definitely, at some point, get a facelift,'" Gleb shared.

"And facelift, meaning it has to be updated with maybe dancers or whatever. But I'll tell you one thing, even though I'm 40 years old, I don't look like I'm 40."

"I don't feel like I'm 40. I'm freaking in the best shape of my life... I look like 30. And this is my prime time," he continued.

"For me, this is the best time I can possibly wish for and just kind of continue what I'm doing. And yeah, I don't think I need a facelift yet."

'SUPPORTIVE' FAMILY

Although Gleb said that he needs a "break" from his DWTS co-stars, he previously referred to them as a "big dysfunctional family."

"We're a family.... We love each other. Everyone's so supportive. We love each other so much," he said.

When asked about any offscreen hook-ups - Emma has been linked to Alan - he played coy and said, "There's no comment on that."

That's not to say that the pros would be friendly with each other if there was ever a day that they could pick their own celebrity partners.

"I wish! Imagine what kind of fight we would have with all the other pros?" he joked.

"I'd be like, 'No, this is my partner.' And Val was like, 'No, I'm dancing with her.'

"And I'd be like, 'No, you won last season. You had Xochitl [Gomez]. Give [the Mirror Ball Trophy] to me!'"

For next season, he's hoping for a partner who is a "hard worker," someone with "a little bit of a dance experience," and someone who is "not too old" and "hot" and "nice to look at."

In the meantime, Gleb is going to continue hosting Chippendales in Vegas until May 12 and then he'll be in Atlantic City, New Jersey, from July 18 to July 21.

He also plans on visiting his children in Hong Kong this summer where the girls are based and competing in dance competitions.
