Sosa’s sister, Stephani Sosa, joined the DWTS cast on season 33 as a troupe member.

Several hours later, Ezra Sosa returned to his Instagram Stories to share an update.

“Hey everyone, Ijust wanted to say how much I appreciate all of you for reaching out. I’m relieved to share that the fires in the Hollywood Hills have died down, the evacuation order has been lifted, my apartment is safe, and most importantly, my sister is safe. My heart goes out to everyone still affected by the fires in Los Angeles, and I’m keeping you all in my prayers,” he wrote.

Many “Dancing With the Stars” Cast Members Have Been Affected by the Wildfires

As the wildfires continue to burn in southern California, many “Dancing With the Stars” cast members who live in the area have been affected.

The show’s co-host Julianne Hough said that she had to evacuate her home. Her brother, DWTS judge Derek Hough, and his wife, Hayley Erbert, also left their home along with their animals.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out to Derek and I. We had to evacuate our home but we are safe, as a family, with our fur babies. My heart is breaking for all the people and animals who have been affected by this tragedy and those that have lost their homes,” Erbert wrote on her Instagram Stories on January 9.

“Praying and sending all my love during this time. LA is our home and I still can’t believe this is happening,” she added
