The Philadelphia Eagles had their annual uniform photo shoot this past week and typically, veterans are not big fans of having to pose in their jerseys after doing it year after year.
But the vibes appear to be different in Philly.
Following the photo shoot, quarterback Jalen Hurts took to his Instagram story to share an image of him and veteran defensive end Brandon Graham.
He also wrote a sweet message: "The Last Dance! Let’s Go Out With A Bang Old Man!"
The Eagles re-signed Graham, 35, to a one-year extension during NFL free agency.
Once his contract expires in 2025, Graham is expected to officially retire.
Graham has only grown to love the city of Philly more and more since the Eagles selected him with the 13th overall pick in the 2010 draft.
He admitted it took a few seasons to earn the city's respect, but now he wouldn't want to be or play anywhere else.
"Man, Philly has always been the only option since I got here," Graham said back in March, via he "PHLY Sports" podcast. "I really just feel like I'm so welcome here. It didn't start so good but winning the Super Bowl definitely changed my mind about this city. And then me sacking Tom Brady and that helped my cost, but man it was tough in the beginning. But now, things have been forgiven and it's been so welcoming. I'm just trying to make sure that Philly knows that. That I'm going to ride with them until the end."
Graham was active for all 17 games in 2023, though limited to playing just 34 percent of the team's defensive snaps. He still managed to log 16 combined tackles, three sacks, and six QB hits with the little action he did see.
Aside from having some juice left in the tank, Graham also brings an infectious personality and quality leadership to the locker room. That will help a ton this fall with the Eagles having such a relatively young defense.
