The Philadelphia Eagles have been to the playoffs in each of Nick Sirianni's first three seasons as head coach of the organization since 2021.
If the team continues their success this season, it will be four straight years for the Birds.
There are many reasons to have this kind of consistent regular season success. One of those is the team's penchant for winning on the road. Since 2021 the Eagles have won more road games than everybody other than the Chiefs, Bills, and Cowboys.
The Eagles are 22-9 away from the Linc under Sirianni - a .710 winning percentage.
What's the secret to the team's success in tough environments? To Sirianni, it's all about remaining calm in stressful environments.
"You want to be calm in situational football. So, we do a lot of things in situations, not only in the meeting room but also out at practice every single day. We've done that through Training Camp. We do that every single day in practice," Sirianni said Monday. "So again, being calm in situations is critical. On offense, being able to handle the noise is going to be really critical. It gets annoying to hear the crowd noise as you go, but obviously, that's a big deal."
Contrary to popular belief, it's hard to win games in the NFL even if you have a lot of talent on a roster. The fact that Sirianni has gotten the roster to win at least eight games in the first 10 games over the last three seasons shows he's got a good pulse on the roster.
And his success on the road is hard to ignore at this point as well.
