The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX, capping off the season on top of the NFL standings.

Philadelphia finished the season with an 18-3 record, defeating the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Washington Commanders and Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason.

Eagles Star Makes Clear Demand After Super Bowl

Following a phenomenal season that ended in the Eagles hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, they're now faced with the challenge of maintaining their Super Bowl roster.

One of the biggest stars on the Eagles' roster set to hit free agency is defensive lineman Milton Williams, who broke out during the 2024 season.

When asked if he wanted to return to Philadelphia, Williams made it clear that he'd like to stick around, but a raise in his salary is necessary.

"Obviously," Williams said, per Nick Farabaugh at Penn Live. "But, I want a raise first."

During the blowout win over the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, Williams posted one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, two sacks and four tackles.

In the regular season, Williams recorded one forced fumble, five sacks and 24 tackles.

Williams originally joined the Eagles' roster in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He's played with the Eagles for four years and has consistently risen in the lineup, earning himself a starting role at the end of the season.

He's currently inked to a four-year, $5.1 million rookie contract with the Eagles.
