Emily Simpson Shares What Was Cut Out Before Heated Scene With Heather on RHOC and Explains Decision to Confront Her Over Fashion Show Drama, Plus Slams Alexis for Making Herself a “Victim” Amid John’s Lawsuit Against Shannon

Emily Simpson shared what was cut from Real Housewives of Orange County before she confronted Heather Dubrow in the recent episode. She also shaded Alexis Bellino for allegedly making herself a “victim” while publicizing her fiancé John Janssen’s lawsuit against his ex Shannon Beador.

Emily Simpson Reveals What Was Cut Out before She Confronted Heather Dubrow, Plus RHOC Star Shades Alexis for Allegedly Making Herself a “Victim” while Publicizing John’s Lawsuit

In the latest episode, Emily called out Heather for telling her to wear jeans while the rest of the cast wore designer clothes at a charity fashion show. It was also suggested that, at another point in the event, Heather wanted Alexis and Emily to wear the same dress, but she gave Alexis a size two and Emily a 12.

On Jeff Lewis Live, Emily hinted at why she confronted Heather in this way.

“I don’t need someone else at that time and place speaking for me or bringing it up in a way that’s going to be different than the way that I want to articulate it,” said Emily, via @nosmokenomore on X. “So I thought, ‘I have to get in here and say it before someone else does.'”

Before the confrontation, Emily thought the conversation would be more of a “bonding experience between two friends” because she made clear that she didn’t believe Heather had “malicious” intentions.

But Emily pointed out that they’re both “on a show” where they’re supposed to share their “opinions and how [they] feel.”

In hindsight, Emily feels she should have spoken to Heather one-on-one, but Emily was “concerned” that “somebody else” would bring it up before.

She also called out how Alexis involved herself in the conversation after Emily mentioned Alexis’ dress in “one sentence.” In the fight, Emily yelled at Alexis to shut up.

But in her Jeff Lewis Live interview, Emily shared what happened before that scene.

“[The show] can’t show everything. We were there for hours and hours at Jen’s house because when Alexis first got there, she kept going on and on about how something was going on but she couldn’t talk about it,” said Emily. “We all sat around for a good 45 minutes while everyone was like, ‘Well, what is it?'”

Emily suggested that Alexis “finally” hinted that she was referring to John filing the lawsuit. Before that time, he apparently had only sent a demand letter, and he was negotiating with Shannon over money he wanted her to pay.

Emily shaded John and Alexis for filing the lawsuit and giving it to People Magazine.

“That is an overt act that you did yourself,” said Emily, addressing Alexis directly. “You put it out there. He filed, you give it to People. It gets disseminated, and then you’re the victim and you’re stressing about it.”
