“Dancing With the Stars” Season 34 is generating a lot of excitement! Fans are eager to discover more about the upcoming ABC dance competition and find out who will be competing for the Mirrorball Trophy. But what spoilers have been revealed and what should fans know?
Who Has Been Confirmed for DWTS Season 34
The first celebrity competitor to be confirmed for DWTS Season 34 was wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin. Irwin’s inclusion in the show was announced on April 22, 2025. Many fans are thrilled with this decision, and Irwin is expected to be an excellent addition to the show. But does he have the moves? This remains to be seen, but his sister, Bindi Irwin, impressed fans when she competed in DWTS Season 21 alongside Derek Hough. She won the Mirrorball Trophy, and she may have been able to give her brother a few tips.
The second competitor to be announced was social media star and model, Alix Earle. The announcement was made on May 22, 2025, during an appearance on “Good Morning America.” Earle has a background in dance, which could make her a celebrity to watch in the upcoming season.
Professional dancer Daniella Karagach made a bold statement in an interview with Us Weekly about how she feels both of these stars could be in the finale.
What Do the Pros Know About Season 34?
If the professional dancers know anything about DWTS Season 34, they are keeping quiet (and are likely contractually obligated to do so). Julianne Hough, who now hosts the show alongside Alfonso Ribeiro, has teased that this season is going to be “the biggest yet” in an interview with TheWrap on June 14. She also discussed how the show appealed to people of all ages and referenced the energy surrounding the upcoming season.
In an interview with People published on June 20, Hough was again asked about the casting, but she revealed no spoilers. “Like everyone else, I have no idea who is on the cast yet,” she told People. “I think this season is going to be spectacular from what we experienced last season to now. I get people sliding into my DMs all the time, like, ‘Hey, put in a good word.'”
“Sometimes people think that we know [the cast in advance], and we don’t. We find out when everybody else finds out,” Pasha Pashkov told Us Weekly in May. So, that answers that question!
Who Wants To Be Included in DWTS Season 34?
Several names have been thrown around regarding the cast for “Dancing With the Stars” Season 34. With only two celebrities confirmed, there are a lot of spots up for grabs. Fans have speculated that “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt may be included in the show after she posted a short video that showed her dancing in front of a DWTS sign and surrounded by mirrorballs.
“Summer House” star Ciara Miller has addressed the rumors surrounding her inclusion in an interview with Us Weekly on June 4. She admitted she would be open to competing, saying, “Yeah, why not? I mean, I grew up dancing.”
“The Traitors” star Dylan Efron told Entertainment Tonight in May, “I don’t dance, so it would be tough.” But in the same interview, he also stated he “loves challenging” himself and “would be open to it.”
“American Idol” alum John Foster has also shared his thoughts on joining DWTS in an interview with TV Insider on May 19. “I never really thought about that. I’ll you this – it’s certainly not a no,” he said.
Marvel actor Tom Hiddleston has suggested he would be open to joining the competition, telling Parade in an interview on June 3 that “it’s in the mix.” He also commented on how he loves dancing.
Who Would Fans Love To See?
Fans would love to see newly retired Jason Kelce join DWTS, and Jenna Johnson has previously shared her enthusiasm about being partnered with an NFL star. In an interview with People in May 2024, she said, “He just retired. I think it’s the perfect thing.” Johnson also said Kelce’s wife could partner with her husband, Val Chmerkovskiy.
Despite this, Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, has denied wanting to compete on the show.
There is also interest in “American Idol” alum David Archuleta joining the DWTS, and some fans would love for him to be paired with Ezra Sosa. The pair generated excitement when Sosa posted a video on Instagram of himself teaching the musician how to dance.
Professional Dancers To Compete on Season 34
And what about returning pros? The list of professional dancers returning to “Dancing With the Stars” has not yet been announced. However, in a June 2025 interview with Us Weekly, Peta Murgatroyd teased she may be ready for a comeback.
An official premiere date for DWTS has not been announced yet, either.

The pros have also sparked speculation regarding the casting when answering questions about who they feel would be a good fit for DWTS Season 34. Derek Hough has hinted that Taylor Lautner would be great, and the “Twilight” star posted a photo of himself dancing with pro Jenna Johnson that appeared to show his interest in being among the cast.
