If Charles were to become the next star of The Golden Bachelorfans would be thrilled because he has such a kind and gentle soul. His journey during The Golden Bachelorette was beautiful as he blossomed from a very sad man who was still mourning the tragic passing of his wife, to finding a new lease on life. Charles would be ideal for The Golden Bachelor, which is all about having a second chance at love.

In addition to being a fan favorite, Charles would break new ground on The Golden Bachelor as the first-ever Asian male franchise lead. Fans have wanted to see an Asian Bachelor for years, so Charles would be the perfect person to take on the role.

Charles Has A New Lease On Life

Although I love Charles, and I think that he's a wonderful person, I'm not sure that he's ready to date over 20 women at a time. He's just begun to move on after his wife's passing, so it might be better for him to date out of the public eye as he navigates his search for love.

On the other hand, Charles embraced every new experience for him on The Golden Bachelorette with open arms, from the kickball game to the strip tease group date. Charles had been haunted by the question of why his wife had blood in her mouth when she had her aneurysm, but, when fellow contestant and ER doctor Guy Gansert explained to him that she probably bit her tongue, that weight was lifted. Guy told Charles that there was nothing that anyone could've done, and that he should stop thinking about it.

In that moment, Charles seemed to be reborn. He seemed lighter and happier because he could finally stop wondering about what could have been. In addition, Charles' friendship with Joan and the other men helped to heal him. As he said when he left the show, he didn't find love with Joan, but he found a different kind of love in these friendships. As Charles continues to move forward with his life, it would be heartwarming to see him in the lead role of The Golden Bachelor.
