With the state of the Rangers franchise, there have been question marks over Panarin's future after a fantastic run in the Big Apple, with many believing that the team should continue focusing on the future.

Last season, Panarin was once again fantastic for a struggling Rangers squad, posting 37 goals and 89 points in 80 games played, and even though he's getting up there in age, there's the expectation that he could get paid in a big way on the open market.
