Farrah Abraham Celebrates Her Daughter’s 16th Birthday

   

Former “Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham celebrated her daughter, Sophia‘s 16th birthday.

On February 23, Abraham took to her Instagram account to wish her daughter a “happy birthday.” Abraham shared several pictures of Sophia.

In the caption of the post, Abraham referenced that she began starring in “Teen Mom” because of her pregnancy with Sophia.

“Happiest Sweet 16 to the one & only @sophialabraham 🌟 To the star who made me famous at 16, I love you,” wrote Abraham.

She also shared that she and her daughter will be “traveling the world together,” specifically Germany, “this year.” In addition, Abraham said she and Sophia have “lived such a full life.”

“Presently I’m beyond proud of you for not people pleasing, conforming and staying true to your values. I’m grateful for you being in my life and making me the best parent, the best me and healing myself while raising you has been the biggest gift in life,” continued Abraham. “As we celebrate your birthday with trips expanding your world, for the young woman who has it all – I had to take a moment to show my gratitude, love & appreciation to the one person who has shown me so much love, my value and my strength.”

She then shared that she “love[d] being a teen mom and wouldn’t of wanted it any other way.”

“I’m so blessed to have had the experience so I can see the world for what it really is. Grateful for you Sophia! Have the Sweetest 16 Birthday ever 🎂🎉,” read the end of the caption.

Sophia reacted to her mother’s post, writing, “best mom ever 🖤🖤 love you so muchhhh <3.”


Fans Wished Sophia a ‘Happy Birthday’ on Instagram

Several fans took to the post’s comments section to wish Sophia a “happy birthday.”

“🖤❤️Happy birthday to you 🎉 greetings from Holland the Netherlands 🇳🇱,” wrote a commenter.

“She is who I wanted to be at 16!! Love her style. Happy birthday!” added another.

“Happy birthday beautiful! I remember watching the episode of 16 and pregnant where you were born! I grew up watching that show and it was my favorite! 16 is a big and fun age!!💕,” shared a different person.


Farrah Abraham Made an Announcement About Her Career

TMZ reported that Abraham, who left the “Teen Mom” franchise in 2017, revealed she will be making her stand-up comedy debut on March 13. During a February 2025 interview with the publication, Abraham shared why she has decided to make her comedy debut at the New York gentlemen’s club, Spearmint Rhino New York.

“So my comedy debut, ‘Diary of a Teen Mom,’ to be at a gentlemen’s club, it goes back to when I was 18 and I could get into my first club, which was a gentlemen’s club, and I just thought it was so cool and so fun. And my girlfriends worked there,” said Abraham to TMZ.
