Farrah Abraham shares the same experience as her former Teen Mom costars, but she exclusively tells In Touch that despite her current positive relationships with some of them, she tries to “keep in touch with no one.”
“I just think when people reach out and they want to connect, like I am emotionally available to connect, to have fun with them, you know to just keep living my life past a show,” Farrah, 33, explains to In Touch.
Farrah is preparing for the debut of her new comedy show, “Diary of a Teen Mom,” at the Spearmint Rhino in New York on March 13. To her surprise, Farrah has received support from some of her former castmates as she embarks on her “new exciting chapter.”
“And I think that’s what they’re grateful for, right? That’s why they reach out. That’s why they want to shout. They want to bring their families. They want to bring other comedy agents. And yeah, it’s just really cool. It’s a cool experience,” the 16 and Pregnant alum says. “I never knew I would have you know continued relationships with anyone from the Teen Mom show in production or talent. It’s kind of like full circle.”
Farrah didn’t end her final years with the franchise on a high note after she claimed to have been fired from Teen Mom in October 2017 following the X-rated content shared to her OnlyFans account. However, she quickly returned to the show after sharing that Viacom Legal told her she was not being booted from her role in the series. Farrah officially left the show in February 2018.
Now, the Nebraska native tells In Touch that the end of her MTV chapter opened her up to the world of comedy.
“So, I would say after I got wrongfully fired from Teen Mom, I started getting checks from David’s special where he had me as a celebrity guest for his comedy show at the Comedy Underground in New York,” she explains. “And then I became SAG, and I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh. I keep getting these checks. I love this.’”
As for Farrah’s relationships with her former Teen Mom costars, she recently got in a heated exchange with Tyler Baltierra in September 2024. Tyler, 33, who is married to Catelynn Baltierra (née Lowell), was vocal about his disapproval of Farrah’s OnlyFans account following her exit. However, he changed his tune once he made his own account on the subscription-based content service in 2023.
