First Cast Member of DWTS Season 34 Might Be ‘Bachelor’ Lead

Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars” won’t air until the fall of 2025, but casting rumors are already starting.

On January 27, a promo for the new season of “The Bachelor” was posted on the official DWTS Instagram page.

Who does Grant pick on 'The Bachelor'? Fans have final rose theories

“Grant’s gonna dance his way into our hearts, isn’t he?” the caption read, referring to lead Grant Ellis. In the comments section of the post, ballroom pro Ezra Sosa hinted that Ellis could compete on the new season, likely based on the caption.

“Oh hello season 34,” Sosa wrote. Many fans also took to the comments section of the post with guesses that Ellis will compete on “Dancing With the Stars” after his season of “The Bachelor” airs.

Fans Reacted to the Idea of Grant Ellis Joining DWTS Season 34

After the post appeared on Instagram, quite a few fans felt that it was obvious that Ellis will be competing on season 34 of DWTS. For many years, the “Bachelor/ette” lead has been known to go from the dating show to the dancing show, likely because both are on ABC.

“Yes he’s going be on dancing with the stars. No choice,” one person said.

“He will [be on] season 34 can’t wait,” someone else added.

“He will definitely be the first casting of season 34,” a third comment read.

“I hope he joins the cast next season for Dancing With The Stars,” a fourth Instagram user wrote.

‘Bachelor’ Star Joey Graziadei Won ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33

Ellis’ chances of joining “Dancing With the Stars” are high. In fact, “Bachelor” lead Joey Graziadei was on season 33 and became the first-ever “Bachelor” star to win the Mirrorball Trophy.

“After a few days it is finally starting to settle in that this season of @dancingwiththestars has come to an end and we are champions,” Graziadei captioned an Instagram post after his Mirrorball win with pro Jenna Johnson.

“Jenna, from the bottom of my heart I want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for crafting the experience of a lifetime. Thank you for pushing me to be better than I thought I could ever be,” he continued.

“No one can question your creative genius and talent. You truly deserve this and I couldn’t be happier for you,” he added.

Prior to Graziadei, “Bachelorette” leads Hannah Brown and Kaitlyn Bristowe won Mirrorballs on their respective seasons.
