Former Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill charged with reckless driving hours before Week 1

The Kansas City Chiefs are clearly missing what All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill brings to the table as a uniquely singular talent due to his speed. However, the Miami Dolphins star was always embroiled in some off-field controversy, and his troubles have followed him down to Florida.

Miami is to begin their season at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a worthy opponent who was vying for the top spot in the AFC before injuries to all their best players. Instead of locking in before the Dolphins' duel against Jacksonville, Hill found himself in trouble again.

Hill was pulled over on his way to the stadium. After he was pulled over, Hill got into a minor verbal squabble with police, which led to him being placed in handcuffs. Photos and video taken from the scene appear to show Hill on the ground while being cuffed.

Hill has since been cited for reckless driving. In a shocking turn of events, it appears as though he has made his way to Hard Rock Stadium and is going to play against the Jaguars. On a Chiefs team with a few pending legal situations swirling around the locker room, the last thing they needed was more stuff like this from Hill.

In just the last 14 months, Hill has been accused of assaulting a male employee of the Haulover Marine Center (a settlement was later reached out of court) and was cited in two separate paternity lawsuits.

Recently, influencer Sophie Hall filed a civil suit against him after she alleged he had broken her leg while performing football drills at his house. Hill alleges that Hall fell over a dog, and the matter is still ongoing.

Even after getting the contract he was looking for with the Dolphins and once again establishing himself as one of the premier players in one of the NFL's best offenses, Hill continues to have trouble with the law. Even on gameday, it appears as though he is not immune from interactions with police officers.
