Schwimmer, also a finalist on “So You Think You Can Dance” (Season 3), caught the attention of fans on Reddit, where discussions about her posts quickly surfaced. One particular instagram story a Reddit user shared stood out, where Schwimmer recalled a moment in her “Dancing with the Stars” career when she challenged the show’s norms. “Then we can’t forget that one time I fought the producers to dance barefoot (god forbid) and got slammed for it. Schwimmer revealed that she was not invited back after her final season with Chaz Bono in Season 13, stating that the decision was not hers.

Schwimmer has remained active in the dance industry and continues to share her expertise. She owns and co-directs The Broadway Dance Center, a competitive dance studio in Redlands, California, where she helps train aspiring dancers.

In addition, Schwimmer runs Lacey’s Ballroom Project, a dance convention tour that brings ballroom workshops to dancers across the country. She has also ventured into business, launching a perfume line and shoe line in collaboration with Só Dança USA.
