Former Minnesota Wild Enforcer Traded To San Jose Sharks

   

There have been a lot of former Minnesota Wild players on the move so far. On Thursday night, there was another one. Ryan Reaves was traded to the San Jose Sharks.

The former Wild enforcer was traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Sharks for defenseman Henry Thrun.

Reaves, 38, is a power forward who played in 35 games for the Leafs during the 2024-25 season. He had zero goals, two assists, 103 hits and 28 penalty minutes. 

The 6-foot-2 forward spent one season in Minnesota. He recorded five goals, 15 points, 152 hits, and 31 penalty minutes. He has spent the last two years with the Leafs. Reaves recorded eight goals, eight assists, 16 points, 268 hits and 77 penalty minutes in 84 games with the Leafs. 

He now joins the Sharks.
