His wife Kelly Dodd, 48, publicly congratulated the veteran journalist, 64, on his new gig in a gushing Instagram post on Monday.
'Congratulations to my husband on his new show! I’m so proud of you baby,' she wrote, followed by three heart emojis, before adding, 'Keep crushing it!'
A number of Dodd's fellow Real Housewives alumni congratulated Leventhal in the comments, including Gretchen Rossi, Leeanne Locken, and Peggy Tanous.
Leventhal is now the host of The Leventhal Report on Newsmax's streaming service, Newsmax2.

Dodd also exited her role on The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2021, just days before Leventhal left Fox.
The couple officially tied the knot in 2020 with a romantic ceremony in Santa Rosa, California.
Leventhal later said that he was 'the happiest he's ever been' and wanted to spend time with wife Kelly instead of chasing stories across the country as a field reporter.
The pair currently host their own podcast and Patreon show called The Rick & Kelly Show, where they discuss pop culture, politics, and their personal life.
In April, they listed their Hamptons holiday home for $1.2million, telling TMZ that they plan to invest in California instead.
Dodd recently said that she has no plans to ever return to The Real Housewives of Orange County.
'I don't want to be a part of that. I'm enjoying my life, so God bless everybody,' she said on Instagram.
The reality star joined the franchise in season 11 in 2016 and then departed after season 15 in 2021.
She was let go from the franchise after making politically incorrect jokes and speaking out against Covid mask mandates.
