Former ‘Teen Mom’ Dad Nathan Griffith Reveals He & His 21-Year-Old Girlfriend Physically Cover Each Other’s Eyes to Avoid Seeing Sexual Content: “Our Eyes Are Meant for Each Other”

Nathan Griffith’s new relationship is raising both eyebrows AND concerns (again) after the former Teen Mom 2 dad revealed this week that he and his 21-year-old girlfriend are now physically shielding each other from seeing sexual content on TV and in movies so that their eyes remain pure and only for each other.

Teen Mom Reddit is More Classier

No, seriously…

As The Ashley told you last week, Nathan– the legally challenged father of Jenelle Evans’ middle son Kaiser– recently returned to social media with a new– and much younger– girlfriend, whom he has been obsessively posting about on an almost daily basis.

Jenelle, realizing her manager/man candy “August” needs to step his PDA love game up…

While partaking in his latest hobby of love-bombing his young girlfriend on social media, the 37-year-old shared a photo of himself and his new gal pal, each using a hand to cover the other’s eyes, claiming it was something that “started as a joke” but is now something they do regularly so that they don’t see anything sexual.

“ … We decided to do it because we don’t want to be polluted,” Nathan explained. “She covered my eyes during a sexual content scene of a woman and the very next scene it was a guy. So, now we just do it every movie we watch because yes, we have a past (which we don’t talk about) but we don’t need to go any further than that besides each other now.

“Our eyes are meant for each other,” he added.

“I know they say ‘if ya can’t say somethin’ nice don’t say anything at all’ but… can I say somethin’ here!?”

Nate has been singing his current soulmate’s praises ad nauseam since late December, often posting photos and videos of the two accompanied by lengthy declarations of love… and more red flags than a bullfighting competition.

In addition to promising his new lady friend that he’ll “be a better man” for her, he’s also admitted multiple times to being “obsessed” with the girl and insisting she’s the love of his life.

The loved-up pair have also taken to sharing their “passion” for one another with the public, as seen in their TMI gym selfies and dinner outings. (And, yes, that’s Little Miss Pink Bow legit sitting on Nathan as he does bench presses in the gym…as you do.)

In an effort to presumably prove that their relationship is built to last, Nate and his soulmate of the season appear to have also gotten matching kiss tattoos recently, with Nate opting to get the ink on his upper arm/front of shoulder area and his just-old-enough-to-legally-drink girlfriend getting hers on her backside.

“ … I’m absolutely crazy about you and will do anything for you to prove it!” Nathan captioned the matching tat pics. “It’s a love that means more than love itself. It is a depth deeper than the ocean and as vast as the stars above … .”

As The Ashley previously told you, Nate took to The Interwebs earlier this week with a cringey post proclaiming his new boo as his “twin flame.”

That particular “WTF?”-inducing post came less than a week after he hopped onto Instagram Live to ramble/dole out questionable relationship advice to the masses. During the Live, Nate touted the fact that neither he nor his girlfriend follow members of the opposite sex on social media (aside from each other) and bragged that they basically never leave each other’s side.

“Call us crazy, call us obsessive, but I’m absolutely in love with her and I don’t think our relationship is toxic,” Nathan said, before revealing that he and his girlfriend are also in possession of each other’s social media passwords.

All of us every time we see one of Nathan’s posts…

“It’s absolutely not crazy because in a relationship you don’t need privacy. Why do you need privacy?” Nathan asked. “If you’re really obsessed with that person, there should be no alibi why they should go behind your back on Snapchat or Instagram or Facebook.

“And I thought it was toxic in the beginning, but out of 10 years– me being 37 years-old– I’ve never had nobody control my Instagram and I love that she controls my Instagram,” he added.

Nathan also reiterated on the Live that he believes the person you date should have “total control over what you do, who you see, who you follow and everything,” claiming it’s not a sign of control, but rather an indication that “they love you and they care about you and they’re concerned.”

“I DID NOT raise you and shave your back dozens of times just to have you goin’ around talkin’ all this nonsense!”

As if Nathan’s concerning social media content as of late (or ever, tbh) isn’t enough of a reason to wave the biggest red flag that one can find, it’s worth noting that he’s also still legally married to estranged wife, May Oyola, and only recently got off probation after pleading guilty in 2023 to attacking his own sister via attempted assault by strangulation.

Last year, the father of two in name only was thrown out of the Veteran’s Court program that he had been sentenced to in 2023 for not “adhering to the program rules and policies.” Nathan was sentenced in July to yet another trip to a residential treatment facility, despite proving to be unsuccessful in several court-ordered rehab programs since his original arrest. Nathan only recently completed the terms of his sentence.
