Ariana Madix revealed why she doesn’t watch “The Valley.” In a May 2025 Q&A with Delish, the former “Vanderpump Rules” star played the “never have I ever game” and was asked about the Bravo spinoff. She admitted that she cares about some of the cast members too much to tune in for the difficult scenes on the show.
“Never have I ever watched ‘The Valley,’” Madix said. “I have not watched ‘The Valley.’ Of course, I’ve seen clips on TikTok and stuff. It seems very stressful.”
“Watching people that I care about be stressed out and stuff, it sucks,” she added. “So when we talk, they fill me in—by all means, please, I want to know about their lives. But to watch it, it’s hard. It can get very dark over there.”

Madix is not as close to her former Bravo castmates as she once was. On the “Vanderpump Rules” season 11 finale, co-stars Lala Kent and Scheana Shay criticized Madix after she walked out of a group event after refusing to film with her estranged ex, Tom Sandoval
In a May 2025 interview with Bustle, Madix was asked about who she is still friends with from the show.
“Katie [Maloney] and I talk every day. Not only is she a really great friend of mine, but we’re in business together,” she said. “Scheana [Shay] and I will say hi every now and again, It’s about to be her birthday, so we’ll check in.”
During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” in May 2025, Madix revealed she has not talked to Kent since Season 11 wrapped. She noted that she hasn’t run into the “Give Them Lala” host at all since the “Vanderpump Rules” reunion taping in 2024.
Scheana Shay & Lala Kent Have Made Several Cameos on ‘The Valley’
While Madix doesn’t watch “The Valley,” Kent and Shay have made cameos on both seasons of the spinoff series. In season 2, Kent grilled cast member Jesse Lally about his treatment of his ex, Michelle Saniei, as Shay stood by her side at a party.
In another episode, Shay made her signature enchiladas for a group gathering with “The Valley” crew. Fans may recall that Shay talked about her enchiladas multiple times on “Vanderpump Rules” and even baked them in a dish imprinted with, “Scheana’s Fab Enchiladas.”
