On Sunday, the former 13th overall pick scored his first career touchdown at the next level against the Denver Broncos.

Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew had thrown a deep pass intended for Bowers, who had to jump over a Broncos defender to snag it and then ran it down the sideline, straight to the house for a total of 54 yards.

Bowers was just one of two Raiders players to score in his team's 34-18 loss to Denver. He finished the game leading all pass catchers with 8 catches for 87 yards and a score.

Through five weeks so far, Bowers has registered 20 catches for 216 yards.

To no surprise, Bowers is already snapping records and on tap for a rookie breakout year. In his first two NFL games alone, he logged the most receiving yards in Raiders franchise history among tight ends when he hauled in 15 catches for 67 yards. And ahead of Week 5, his previous 156 yards on 15 receptions led all tight ends in the NFL.

Bowers and the Raiders, now 2-3, return home in Week 6 to host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
