Leslie Fhima was one of the final two women on The Golden Bachelor. She thought for sure that Gerry Turner would pick her and claimed he told her as much during their overnight date. Instead, he dumped her after they spent the night together in the Fantasy Suite. Millions of viewers watched her get her heart broken on the reality show.
Many Bachelor Nation viewers now think Leslie Fhima dodged a bullet when Gerry Turner dumped her on The Golden Bachelor. After all, his marriage to final rose winner Theresa Nist only lasted a few months.
Fans thought Leslie Fhima was a sure bet as the first Golden Bachelorette. However, the network went with another woman from Gerry’s season – Joan Vassos. Joan’s season is in full swing. She recently sent home fan-favorite Mark Anderson, father of Bachelor Season 28 winner, Kelsey Anderson. He was as blindsided by his elimination as Leslie was about hers. But there’s no hard feelings. He shared a heartfelt social media post thanking Joan Vassos for changing his life.
An eagle-eyed Bachelor Nation fan spotted Leslie Fhima showing Mark Anderson love on his Instagram. He posted a photo from attending a Vikings game in September. Leslie, a lifelong Minnesota resident, replied “Go VIKES!” with a purple heart emoji.
Is Romance Brewing?
The comment came over a month before Mark Anderson’s Golden Bachelorette elimination. But that didn’t stop a few Bachelor Nation fans to speculate about a possible romance. One cynic wrote, “You think because he’s at a Viking’s game that he’s hooking up with Leslie?,” on a Reddit thread about Mark and Leslie.
But another added, “I’d totally ship them given I wanted Leslie as our Golden Bach so bad.” Both Mark and Leslie are potential cast members on a rumored Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff. ABC has yet to give the go-ahead for a senior version, but fans are hopeful. The regular Bachelor In Paradise returns in 2025.
