Keep reading to find out more.
Golden Bachelorette Contestant Has Restraining Order
Instagram page BachelorNationScoop, broke the news during the season premiere of The Golden Bachelorette that one of the contestants had a restraining order against him. It is not just a rumor as the daughter of the woman who filed the complaint spoke out as well.
Gil Ramirez is the man who was served a temporary restraining order in June of this year. Right now the information is still coming out but what is known is that the order was created June 11.
The daughter spoke out on the post and said that Gil dated her mother for 3.5 years. They broke up in May after he was allegedly caught cheating. The post also alleges that he was harassing and stalking her even after their breakup.
It also alleges that Gil was secretly talking to Golden Bachelorette production behind his girlfriend’s back all while promising to propose soon.
Reality Steve touched on the subject in his daily podcast and said that he has been in touch with the daughter who released the information. He believes the ex-girlfriend will be willing to speak to him as well to gather more facts about the situation.
Who Is Gil Ramirez?
According to the bio released by ABC, Gil Ramirez is from California and is 60 years old. He has two children. The bio reads, “Gil is the perfect combination of romantic, sweet and emotional. This educator is ready for love again and misses that feeling of knowing you’re with the right person.”
He reportedly is ready to retire and live by the beach in Hawaii with his person. When he’s not working he enjoys spending time with friends going to comedy clubs and also getting a relaxing foot massage.
So far Gil, Joan nor ABC has addressed these newly surfaced allegations. Perhaps Steve will be able to share more depth into this situation soon.
Of course, this leads to more questions about the producer’s vetting process for contestants coming on the show.
