Recently, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom hopped on her Instagram Stories to show a behind-the-scenes look at her family life, showing how she and her little one were going through old photos. When looking at the throwback images, Skylar made a stunning observation: she and her mom look exactly alike. "That's me, hah!" Skylar joked before clarifying, "That's actually you, mama!"

Gretchen then made Skylar hold the photo next to her face and made a declaration. "If there are any of you out there [who] say Skylar doesn't look like me...what do you think now?!" she exclaimed. "We're literally twins."

The proud mom added in writing over the Story, "For anyone who says she looks just like Slade...we look like twins as kids."

Gretchen Rossi shares if she plans to have more kids with Slade Smiley

Gretchen recently opened up about the possibility of having a second child with fiancé Slade during an appearance on Scheana Shay's Scheananigans podcast.. While the California mom said she would “love” to expand their family, she admitted to having concerns — especially after her experience with postpartum depression after welcoming Skylar.

“I had her really late, though,” Gretchen said about her daughter Skylar. “I had her at 41. It was hard. I’m not gonna lie… We were older parents, so that was rough.”

“We have one on ice still,” Gretchen said, referring to her frozen eggs. “I would love to have another baby, but honestly, I had the worst postpartum depression ever. It was really, really hard on me. It was almost three years long. It wasn’t until I got on the hormone replacement therapy that I finally felt like myself again. But I would love to [have another child], but I would probably consider a surrogate.”

She continued: “I can carry and I really love being pregnant, but the afterwards was so difficult that I didn’t feel like I could be the best version of myself for my child. I just don’t want to go through that again.”

Scheana asked if baby No. 2 was in the cards and even suggested surrogacy. Gretchen didn’t confirm any plans, but she acknowledged the emotional weight of the decision. She also shared that, while raising an only child can come with concerns, she’s had several conversations that have helped her feel more at peace with the idea, adding perspective to her parenting journey.

“I talk to a lot of only-children, and they say, oh, they love it,” Gretchen said. “And then I’m, like, ‘Oh, OK. So if it doesn’t happen for us, I at least feel OK about it.’”
