Gretchen Rossi Shares New Insight on Her Family Life With Slade: "My Everything

Before she reunites with her The Real Housewives of Orange County friends, Gretchen Rossi is soaking up every sweet moment of family life with longtime partner Slade Smiley and their 5-year-old daughter Skylar Gray Smiley.

"These two are my everything," she captioned an April Instagram Reel of the father-daughter duo twinning in lavender duds, as they strolled to an Easter/spring-themed photo shoot, hand in hand.

Gretchen, who appropriately set the video to "Daddy's Little Girl" by The Shires, also thanked Slade for "being the best Daddy in the whole world," adding that she and Skylar "feel so blessed to be loved, protected, and guided" by him.

"You made all my dreams come true by giving me the biggest blessing of my life….our little girl," she gushed. "I love you honey."

In honor of Mother's Day, Gretchen unveiled some images from the aforementioned outdoor family photo session, uploading two professional candid snapshots with her daughter on May 11.

That wasn't the only holiday she was spotlighting, though. In fact, the RHOC mom took a walk down memory lane, sharing a whole carousel of festive photos and video with her mini-me, including her and Skylar (aka Sky) sporting matching Christmas pajamas, wearing coordinated Grease-themed Halloween costumes, and enjoying various holiday treats.

"I'm so incredibly blessed & lucky to be your Mom," Gretchen wrote to Skylar. "It has been the biggest blessing of my life…so thank you for making me a mother [and] making all my dreams come true."

She kept the lovefest going, adding, "Your spirit lights up any room, your heart for Jesus is contagious [and] and your laugh [and] smile heals people's souls. I love you so much baby girl."

Months earlier, Gretchen also gave a behind-the-scenes look at the "sweet tradition" Slade started last year, posting an IG video of him "picking up Skylar from school & bringing her flowers on Valentine’s Day."

Set to the tune of Tabitha Meeks and Sea Changer’s "Little Moments," the February 2025 clip shows Slade adorably hand-delivering the bouquet to their girl for the second year in a row, as well as Skylar returning home from school carrying the collection of gorgeous blooms.

"He wants me to film it every year until she is 18 and then make a collage of all the videos together to remind her of how very special [and] loved she is, ([and] of course remind her how a man should always make her feel like she is the most important thing in the world)," Gretchen explained in the caption.

"They have … such a special bond and she has been such a healing gift for him," she continued. "Thank you Lord for blessing them with each other."
