Hannah Berner is sharing a new look at her stunning engagement ring from her now-husband, Des Bishop.
On October 10, the Summer House alum gave her Instagram followers a close-up view of the 18-karat yellow gold band and round-cut diamond. "Sometimes I don't wear my wedding band because of chafing," Hannah explained in the photo, where she also rocked gorgeous jade green nail polish.
When Hannah and Des announced their engagement in 2021, Hannah was over the moon about her gorgeous sparkler.
Speaking with PEOPLE about the dazzling rock after Des popped the question, Hannah explained, “It’s just perfect because I can wear it with my sweats. I can wear it more dressed up. And I feel like it’s, as my friends would say, very me."
Des Bishop's Proposal to Hannah Berner
Elsewhere in her interview with PEOPLE around the time of her engagement, Hannah revealed that Des proposed on Valentine's Day in the best possible way.
According to Hannah, Des sent her a hilariously adorable video of himself singing. At the end of the clip, he said, “I have a surprise for you." Then, he was down on one knee.
“I’m in bed with my Invisalign on, and my breath is terrible,” Hannah shared. “And he’s just kneeling on the side, and then he just pulls out the ring. I think I just made weird crying noises.”
Hannah Berner and Des Bishop's Relationship Timeline and Life Today
Hannah first announced her relationship with the comedian on the premiere of Bravo’s Chat Room back in September 2020, quipping that it was a "real 2020 quarantine plot twist." The pair then moved in together that October.
“I decided to move in with my boyfriend, who I just met, because why not?" Hannah shared with other other co-hosts at the time, joking, "The world is burning. Why not? We don’t have time."
As for how the pair is doing today, during a 2023 chat with Us Weekly, Hannah spoke about the upsides to married life. "Overall, I think what makes our relationship fun is the laughter. And we're always trying to find, [like], 'Where's the joke? How can we take life a little less seriously?'" she shared.
"And as long as we're laughing, we're happy," she continued. "So that's my biggest advice definitely for marriage: 'Don't take it too seriously.'"
