Rachel Recchia Nearly Ran Away Due To Clayton
When Clayton Echard was the star of The Bachelor, he had many women vying for his heart. At the end, he was left with Susie Evans, Gabby Windey, and Rachel Recchia. Susie ended up going home when she verbalized how she did not like the idea of him being with other women. That left Gabby and Rachel, with whom Clayton was intimate. Yet, he realized that Susie was the one who got away and opted to end things with his two finalists for her. He and Susie have since split, and she has moved on, leaving him to try a new reality television avenue for love.
Clayton joined the current season of Netflix’s The Perfect Match and hoped he could find the one. He was unexpectedly reunited with Rachel, and they quickly linked up. However, not twenty-four hours later, he ended the romance all over again, and that crushed her. Rachel went as far as to admit that she wanted to run away after he broke her heart for, what she claims, was the third time. She explained that she did not feel like those on the show understood the pain she was feeling.
The Bachelor alum had already been through heartbreak with Clayton Echard, and now, it was happening all over again: “It really did affect me, even after, so this just feels like he did it on purpose to hurt me. I just don’t want to be here, I’m already so embarrassed.”
Fortunately, she had so much support from the other ladies around her, who helped remind her it was all Clayton and not her. She had done nothing wrong and should not leave simply because he hurt her. Admittedly, had Rachel Recchia not been so supported, she likely would have done her best to exit.
Everyone Was Mad At Rachel
When Rachel Recchia returned home from The Perfect Match, everyone was mad that she reconnected with the former Bachelor star. She did tell them that she had met others she connected with. However, she justified being a normal girl going back to their ex. Rachel even knew her co-star Gabby Windey would be livid as she was back with Clayton. As for bashing her reality television ex, Rachel knows she has to move on with her life, so she will stay silent. One thing that is for sure is that she will never return to reality TV again, and says she is “retired.” Although she has said that in the past, the Bachelor Nation star allegedly means it.
