Opening up.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Hannah Brown as the Season 15 Bachelorette, and she has since found love off-screen with fiancé Adam Woolard.
The couple has been dating since early 2021 and announced their engagement shortly after moving to Nashville together.
Hannah and Adam are getting married this summer, and the Bachelor Nation star has been keeping fans updated as the two prepare for their big day.
Recently, Hannah joined former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe on her podcast “Off the Vine” to chat about her wedding, and got candid about her relationship with Adam.
When describing their relationship dynamic, Hannah spilled that it’s a balance between the two of them.
She shared, “Adam is the calm to my storm. It is not easy to be with me. I am not one of those easy, fun girls to be with. It’s like what are we getting every day.”
Hannah laughed and continued sharing about their relationship, expressing what she's learned about love and vulnerability.
She said, “But isn’t that love? Loving somebody is giving them the opportunity to hurt you, and they’re not going to if it’s the right person, but that’s the part that’s so hard when you’re like, ‘Oh, I could do this on my own.’ It’s like that’s the thing that is of course the thing you’re going to tell yourself to protect yourself.”
Hannah then shared more about learning to be vulnerable with Adam and how their relationship has changed over the years.
“Vulnerablility is joy. Sometimes I will forebode joy because I feel like I have to be vulnerable but it’s also being scared and having the opportunity to be hurt and being able to be loved, you have to be vulnerable so you have to expose yourself to all those things,” she expressed, “And when you’ve been hurt you feel like ‘Oh, never mind!’ But being with someone who’s like, ‘okay you’re okay, you can come out you can be safe, it’s okay’... Even Adam will say just in our relationship, he’s like ‘You are so hard on yourself but you would’ve done this so differently 2 years ago.’ And sometimes it feels like, gosh, I’m still freaking crazy but you know, I was crazier. A win is a win!”
We love hearing from Hannah and love how open and honest she is about everything she goes through. We can’t wait for her and Adam’s big day!
