Sparks flew between Kat Izzo and Dale Moss immediately on Bachelor In Paradise. But their relationship hit a bumpy patch in the most recent episode. She shared more insight on her side of the argument.
Kat Izzo Defends Dale Moss Amid Tense Argument
Bachelor In Paradise is set up to give former contestants multiple options when meeting their potential match. New contestants arrive at the beach after each elimination ceremony. However, many of the couples are established during the first week. Very few want to risk the security of a rose to explore another connection.
But producers brought in a new element of challenges for Season 10 to shake up the relationships. In the recent kissing challenge, contestants were given the opportunity to secretly kiss other contestants. But nothing stays secret on the beach for long.
Kat Izzo eventually found out that Dale Moss locked lips with Alli Jo Hinkes. He even confessed to smooching Alli Jo in circumstances outside the kissing challenge. Kat didn’t take the news well.
She continued to bring the topic up multiple times in the day leading up to the rose ceremony. Every time she tried to talk about it, Dale would respond that he “deaded it” with Alli Jo.
Kat – and viewers – grew frustrated with Dale’s new catchphrase. In the end, Kat gave Dale her rose despite the argument. She was a guest on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast this week and gave more insight on the tense argument.
“It wasn’t about the kiss. It was like, ‘So what else is there that I don’t know? What else has happened that I’m not being [told]?’ And then that’s where my mind started going,” Kat explained about why she was upset in the first place.
However, she tried to see it from Dale’s point of view. “Maybe he felt anxiety about it being a Rose Ceremony night and he didn’t want it to be a thing on a night that was already stressful and I should’ve been more cautious of that,” she rationalized.
She added that he repeatedly shut her down on the topic because he was in “defensive mode.”
Fans Worry She’s In Another Toxic Relationship
Kat Izzo and Dale Moss have both had failed Bachelor Nation engagements. He got engaged to Clare Crawley during Season 16 of The Bachelorette. Kat Izzo and John Henry Spurlock left Season 9 of Bachelor In Paradise engaged. But neither engagement lasted the test of time.
Both joined Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise for another chance at love. They quickly found each other on the beach. However, after their argument, Kat told the camera that she didn’t want to end up in another toxic relationship like the one she had with her ex.
She also said that some of Dale’s behavior reminded her of her ex. However, viewers think she’s already in a toxic relationship with Dale. Even Hannah Brown isn’t sure if they are right for each other.
Where They Stand Now
Kat Izzo gave Dale Moss her rose in the last rose ceremony. That makes them both safe for another week on Bachelor In Paradise. But does their romance last?
Reality Steve previously reported that Kat and Dale left the beach in a relationship. However, he hasn’t shared any updates on whether they are still together or not.
