Paige DeSorbo finally revealed what actually went down with ex Craig Conover at Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s wedding.
“Was he asked not to return to the backyard? Absolutely,” Paige, 32, confessed during the Summer House season 9 reunion on Wednesday, June 4, admitting that Craig, 36, was kicked out of the reception. (Paige and Craig split in late 2024 after three years of dating.)
Amanda, who married Kyle, 42, in September 2021, confirmed the events, adding, “Craig was told to leave our property.”
Paige recalled waking up the next morning and telling Craig, “You have to apologize to Mr. and Mrs. Batula,” who hosted the wedding for their daughter at their New Jersey home.
“He absolutely refused,” Paige alleged, while Amanda, 33, recalled Paige texting her parents the next day to say she was sorry for what transpired. “I was mortified,” Paige admitted.
Paige detailed the Southern Charm star’s antics that day, claiming, “He was so belligerently drunk. He was causing a scene. He was kicking tables. He was yelling at people. He was going inside the house.” (The Batulas specifically asked that guests stay outside, according to Amanda.)
Paige continued, “He acted like an entitled brat at the wedding, and he was an embarrassment.”
Rumors surfaced after Paige’s costars tied the knot that Craig was booted from the event. While Paige largely kept quiet about the alleged scandal, she previously slammed former castmate Danielle Olivera during the show’s season 8 reunion, which aired in June 2024, for fueling the speculation.
At the time, Danielle, 36, confirmed that she did “leak” the story to the media because it was “juicy as f***” — and she didn’t regret it.
“What I was fighting about at the reunion last year was that Danielle sent the story in to a blogger. That was the part I was most mad about,” Paige explained on Wednesday, noting that the cast “don’t send things in anonymously about each other.”
Craig, for his part, exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2024 that the wedding scandal story was “made up.”
“It didn’t happen, which kind of hurt my feelings,” Craig claimed, noting that he did drink “too much” at the wedding. “When we were already leaving, I basically was [told] like, ‘You know what? I don’t think you need to come back in here.’”
Craig insisted that he wasn’t “kicked out of the wedding” and added that the wedding was filmed, so fans “would’ve seen it on TV” if it was true.
Kyle, however, claimed during a March episode of Summer House that Craig wasn’t telling the truth. “Make no mistake, the guy got kicked out of my wedding,” Kyle alleged. “He continues to lie about that.”
Since breaking up with Craig in November 2024 — their split was officially announced just before the new year — Paige said she’s stopped protecting her ex.
In fact, during the Summer House reunion, she claimed, “I’ve never had to lie in my entire life until I started to date him. I had to be like, ‘Oh, he’s not that drunk. Oh no, we just wanted to go home early.’ It’s little situations that he would put me through, and I had to defuse. It’s uncomfortable.”
Paige also broke down the timeline of her and Craig’s split, telling host Andy Cohen on Wednesday’s episode that she told him they were done the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Paige explained that following Craig’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on December 10, 2024, the exes had an “in person discussion” that marked the “final end” of the relationship.
Paige then publicly announced their split on her “Giggly Squad” podcast on New Year’s Eve. “Like, all of our relationship, made it so easy for him to say, ‘Yep, we broke up,’” Paige said on Wednesday. “But like the rest of our relationship, his ego had to get all over it and he had to make it known, ‘She broke up with me.’”
Despite the rocky end to their relationship, Paige said she’s in a good place. “I am dating. I’m absolutely dating,” she revealed, noting it’s “nothing serious” and there’s “no one special.”
Us exclusively confirmed in March that Craig, meanwhile, has moved on with model Natalie Buffett.
