Here’s Why Brandi Glanville’s Attorneys Dropped Her as Planned Lawsuit Against Andy Cohen and Bravo is “On the Shelf,” Plus RHOBH Alum Hires a New Attorney?

Brandi Glanville revealed last month that after telling her she had a “strong” case against Andy Cohen and Bravo, and was sure to get “rich,” the attorneys representing her in her sexual harassment claims had “cut ties.”

Here’s Why Brandi Glanville's Lawsuit Against Andy Cohen and Bravo is “On the Shelf,” Plus RHOBH Alum Hires a "Fabulous" New Attorney

Now, weeks later, it is being alleged that the sexual harassment claims made against the 51-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum by her Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip co-star, Caroline Manzo, 63, and another man, are what led to the decision.

According to a report from Page Six on October 15, attorneys Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos, who previously sent a letter to Andy, 56, and Bravo, warning of an impending lawsuit and citing a video Andy sent to Brandi, pulled out of the case after months of working with Brandi and have no plans to file a lawsuit on her behalf.

In a post shared on X in September, which has since been deleted, Brandi confirmed her lawyers had “cut ties” as she suggested they were “paid” off.

“After a YEAR of telling me how rich I was about to be & how strong my case against BRAVO is my ‘lawyers’ have decided I now don’t have a case [and] cut ties with me. #paid off maybe ?!? allegedly,” she wrote at the time.

Page Six went on to note that Brandi was running out of money after heeding her lawyers’ advice and “[keeping] her head down.” As insiders shared, the attorneys reportedly encouraged Brandi against making money on Cameo and media appearances, saying it would improve her chances of winning her case before suddenly informing her that she “didn’t have a case.”

Meanwhile, additional sources claimed that after taking legal action against Andy and his video, in which he reportedly requested Brandi watch him have sex with Kate Chastain, 41, Brandi was accused of sexually harassing both the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum and another man amid filming on RHUGT.

“These public liabilities complicated the situation and certainly did not encourage Bravo to take her claims seriously,” said a source close to the attorneys.

Although the case is said to be “on the shelf” at this time, Brandi has taken on new representation, which she confirmed on X this week.

“I have a new Lawyer and she’s fabulous. That’s all that will be said,” she wrote.

Speaking to Page Six about the “Reality Reckoning,” Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos, who are also working with Bethenny Frankel, 53, confirmed their stance against the mistreatment of reality show talent has not died down, despite the slowing of Brandi’s case.

“The ‘Reality Reckoning’ initiative is designed to address the broader mistreatment of reality stars and crew across multiple shows, with a focus on unfair contract provisions and systemic issues. It has never been centered on one individual’s case,” they noted. “We remain committed to advancing change in this space and are optimistic about the positive transformations we are driving within the industry.”
