On the Just Trish Podcast, the Dancing with the Stars pro, 24, admitted that his “biggest flop was not going to Taylor Swift’s audition for her tour,” adding, “I was invited.”

Sosa has no doubts that he would have landed the job on the record-shattering tour, saying, “I feel like [Madison] Beer saying this, but I [think] if I would have gone to the audition, I would have booked it because it was Mandy Moore, [and] she trained me growing up.”

“I had that close connection, and the material of it. Yeah, no, I could have crushed it,” he added of auditioning for Moore, who also choreographed for Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance.

When asked if he was still “sad” about the missed opportunity, he responded, “Not now.”

Sosa detailed why he ultimately decided to forgo the audition.

“I definitely feel like me doing it at the time showed my loyalty to Dancing With the Stars ‘cause I was a swing for them,” he explained. “I said no to the audition because I was already swinging, and I just knew my heart was in Dancing With the Stars.”

Sosa went on to be partnered with Anna Delvey for season 33, his first as a pro on the ABC dance competition.

When the pair was eliminated from the show, Delvey gave a blunt response when asked by host Julianne Hough what she was taking from her experience on the show.

The convicted con artist, 34, gave a one-word answer: "Nothing."

Sosa later told PEOPLE that he thought Delvey's reaction was actually "iconic." Sosa added that he was "really happy with how [Delvey] ended [her run on the show]" because she stayed true to herself.

"With me being her partner on the show, I wanted her to show different sides of herself to America, but also I don’t want her to ever change who she is, because I really think she’s so brilliant and everything," he explained.

Sosa added that he was grateful for all of the support the pair received from both the fans and show producers and that it was Delvey who was by his side for his first season as a pro.

"I felt like I was in great hands and getting to dance with Anna and letting her open up to me, and showing a different side of herself to me, I feel so grateful that she even felt that comfortable around me," he said. "Yeah, I’m just so happy that she was my first partner. Honestly, truly."

As for the Eras Tour, it spanned 149 shows, beginning in March 2023 and ending in December 2024. It went on to become the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, according to Pollstar.
