“I Want to Be a Girl Dad”: Love Is Blind’s Daniel Hastings Opens Up About His Dream Family with Taylor Haag

The cameras have stopped rolling, the pods are long gone, but for Love Is Blind’s Daniel Hastings, one dream is just beginning — the dream of becoming a father.

In a heartfelt moment that’s melting fans everywhere, Daniel has opened up about his longing to start a family with Taylor Haag, revealing that he’s hoping for something very specific: a baby girl.

“I Just Want to Take Care of Her — and Our Daughter”

During a recent podcast interview, Daniel got candid about what’s next for him and Taylor, his fiancée from the latest season of Love Is Blind.

“I’ve been thinking about it more and more,” he confessed. “I want to be a girl dad. I want to raise a strong, kind, incredible little girl with Taylor.”

For Daniel, it’s not just about fatherhood — it’s about the life he wants to build. The quiet mornings, the little milestones, the late-night diaper changes — all of it, with Taylor by his side.

“Taking care of Taylor and our future daughter — that would be the greatest joy of my life.”

From Rock Bottom to Dreaming Big

Daniel hasn’t always been this open about his emotions. His journey on Love Is Blind was filled with vulnerability, self-doubt, and moments where Taylor had to carry the emotional weight. But through it all, she never gave up on him — and that love has transformed him.

“There were times when I didn’t think I deserved her. But Taylor saw the man I could be. And now, all I want is to be that man — for her and for our future child.”

Building a Life Full of Meaning

The couple isn’t rushing into parenthood just yet, but they’re talking about it — often. And while wedding planning is underway, Daniel says starting a family is already part of their long-term vision.

“We talk about names. We talk about who she’ll look like. Taylor laughs and says she hopes she gets my patience and her sass.”

For Daniel, fatherhood isn’t just a role — it’s a calling. A chance to give the love and security he never had. A chance to rewrite his story and start a new one with the woman who believed in him.

“If I’m lucky enough to raise a daughter with Taylor, I’ll know I did something right.”

From a broken man in the pods to a hopeful future father, Daniel Hastings is living proof that love doesn’t just change people — it gives them a future worth dreaming about.
