The iconic snap from Muhammad Ali’s iconic knockout from the 1965 Sonny Liston rematch is going under the hammer this weekend.

Neil Leifer’s famed photo will have a starting bid of £128,000.

 

However, the folks of Guernsey’s Auction expect the winning bid to reach around the £480k mark.

And it is not only the legendary photograph that you will be getting.

It comes along with a handwritten from Ali – who was named Cassius Clay at the time – to Leifer along with the original press credentials from the event.

The live auction is being held this Saturday in New York City’s Bohemian National Hall.
