Ilona Maher Is in Her Revenge Dress Era After Landing at the Bottom of the ‘DWTS’ Leaderboard

Ilona Maher channeled her inner “people’s princess” status in the hottest revenge look.

Maher, 28, stepped out in an elegant look that reminded Us of Princess Diana while arriving at the Dancing With the Stars rehearsal studio in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 31. Her outfit, which was a major switch up from her go-to athleisure wear for rehearsal, featured a black vest equipped with a deep V-neck and polished buttons. The Olympian teamed the piece with a black skirt that exposed the perfect amount of skin with a thigh-high slit.

Maher’s classy ensemble didn’t stop there. She accessorized with a blazer that she slung over her arm and added a pop of shimmer to her outfit with a gold Olympic ring necklace, a pearly choker and chunky gold hoop earrings.

Maher parted her brunette strands to the side and wore her tresses down and straightened.

Maher’s graceful getup comes days after she and pro Alan Bersten scored a 24 out of 30 for their Tango to “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads, landing them at the bottom of the leaderboard on Tuesday, October 29. Fans were upset that the judges collectively gave the pair 8 out of ten ratings, as every other couple on the dance floor scored at least one 10. (Due to fan votes accounting for half of their score, Maher and Bersten were safe from the elimination. Jenn Tran and pro Sasha Farber were ultimately sent home.)

Maher and Bersten, 30, exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about their scores following their performance.

“They were a little harsh with the scores, in my opinion, but they’re judges and that’s the point,” Bersten told Us. “We’re here to learn and we’re going to keep growing.” He continued, “I am so proud of Ilona because her frame was amazing. Her head actions were amazing. Her sharpness, her legs, everything was so pristine.”

Maher noted that she’s still not throwing in the towel amid the fierce competition. “We’re not ready to go home yet, and we’re not ready to stop what we’re building here and how much fun we’re having,” she told Us.
