“I’m Done With Disappointment”: DWTS Alum Kendra Wilkinson Says She’s Officially Giving Up on Dating and Focusing on Herself

"Dancing with the Stars” alum Kendra Wilkinson is putting her love life on the back burner and focusing on her family and real estate career. The former “Girls Next Door” star, 40, shared on her Instagram story that she’s not currently interested in dating.

“I don’t have interest in men at the moment. Just work. Thank you for supporting my business,” Wilkinson wrote, alongside a beachside photo taken in Southern California, according to Us Weekly.

Wilkinson, who competed on season 12 of “Dancing with the Stars” and is now a licensed real estate agent, also encouraged fans to refer potential clients her way. “You can support me by referring me to friends who are looking into moving,” she added.

The update comes after Wilkinson previously told Us Weekly in late 2024 that she wanted to find a “husband or boyfriend” and leave “boy toy land” behind. At the time, she joked, “I think I’m gonna crawl up from the dead here soon and look for this man of mine.”

By early 2025, however, Wilkinson admitted she was happy being alone and enjoyed her independence, though she remained open to love. “Am I happy as f— right now being alone? F— yeah,” she said in February. She added that her children — son Hank IV, 15, and daughter Alijah, 11 — and her real estate career are her top priorities.

“I’m still in real estate right now and doing a great job,” she said. “I feel confident I will find love again… but the best version of Kendra is here right now.”

She Regrets Not Starting Real Estate Sooner

In a June interview with Fox News Digital, Wilkinson revealed her biggest regret: not launching her real estate career during her time living at the Playboy Mansion.

“I was surrounded by everyone — every celebrity, every billionaire,” she said, reflecting on missed opportunities while living with Hugh Hefner from 2004 to 2009.

Wilkinson began her real estate career in 2020, earned her license, and landed a job at The Agency before later moving to Douglas Elliman. She also starred in “Kendra Sells Hollywood”, a Discovery+ reality series that ran for two seasons.

Though she briefly announced she was leaving the industry in 2023, she later walked it back, saying the post came after a particularly difficult day. “I made a huge mistake,” she told People, confirming she was back in the field and juggling several deals.

Healing Journey and New Focus

Wilkinson has been open about her mental health struggles following her 2018 divorce from Hank Baskett, per reports. After being hospitalized in 2023 due to a panic attack, she credited her recovery to a team of doctors and therapists.

“I was dying of depression,” she told People, recalling that she was later prescribed medication and began therapy. Today, she says she’s focused on staying healthy and raising her kids. “I feel good, and I’m smiling,” she told Fox News Digital. “I never want to take my smile for granted.”
