Stassi Schroeder is not asking for parenting advice.
Indeed, the Vanderpump Rules alum is doing whatever she can to prevent her 4-year-old daughter Hartford from becoming jet lagged while on vacation in the U.K.—in this case, letting her try Coca-Cola for the first time, despite what online critics might have to say.
“Letting the kids have their first soda experience because I need to keep them up to prevent the jet lag and get them on schedule,” Stassi wrote on her Instagram Stories August 9. “Come for me. I DON’T CARE.”
In a following video, the 37-year-old—who also shares 23-month-old son Messer with husband Beau Clark—went on to let her eldest happily sip the glass of soda.
“Drink that up girl,” she wrote over the clip. “No jet lag.”
But as Hartford prepared to get her first taste, the reality star made sure she knew this wouldn’t become a common occurrence.
“This will be the only time you’re going to have it, though,” Stassi told her daughter. “So if you really love it, it’s only reserved for moments when we’re trying to prevent jet lag.”
Thus, Hartford took her first-ever sip of soda—an act that immediately earned a “yum,” and the question, “Can I have this tomorrow?”
And without hesitation, her mom replied with a simple, “No.”
Since then, the family of four has shared several photos from their trip, including a visit to Nicholson’s Pubs in London and The Story Museum in Oxland.
After all, Stassi has always done everything she could to make lasting memories with her kids—even if that means ending up with a busted lip.

Back in December, while Hartford was belting out her rendition of Wicked’s “Defying Gravity” by the Christmas tree, she became a little too enthusiastic and accidentally hit her mother in the mouth.
"Are you okay?" Hartford quickly asked, as shown in a video posted to Instagram at the time, before Stassi turned to Beau—who was filming—and inquired, "What do I look like? Is it really that bad?"
And it was, indeed, that bad, because the next clip showed blood dripping down Stassi’s chin as Beau gasped, “Oh my god!”
Hartford then apologetically brought her mom a towel to wipe her lip.
“I’m so sorry,” she said, to which her mom sweetly replied, “It’s okay. It was an accident.”
