“I’m, like, ‘Honey, I’m just built like that,’” Amy, 28, quipped during the couple’s Wednesday, June 18, appearance on the “What’s the Reality?” podcast. “I have scoliosis, my tummy sometimes pokes out, I’m bloated.”

Johnny, 29, even joked about fans who look at a social media snap of Amy and comment that she is “having a [baby] boy.”

“Wow, you know the gender before it even happens?” he said with a laugh.

Amy and Johnny met and got engaged sight unseen during season 6 of Love Is Blind. Before their onscreen wedding, they notably disagreed about birth control methods.

“We wanted to take things slow and be, like, very wise about [our intentions],” she added to pregnant podcast host AD Smith, who also appeared on Love Is Blind season 6.

Johnny, meanwhile, added that he wanted to “make sure that [they] weren’t jumping the gun” on things they weren’t ready for.

“Now, we’ve talked about it,” Amy said. “There’s still some other things that we want to do ‘till we’re at that next step, but I feel now we’re comfortable if it happens.”

Johnny and Amy further stressed that they planned to publicly reveal any future pregnancies.

“We will announce when it happens,” Johnny stated. “When the time comes, the time comes. I feel, like, we’ll be as ready as we can be, but we’re both going to be really excited.”

The Netflix couple previously told Us that they weren’t in a rush to expand their family.

“In my perfect world, I would love to [have kids] when I’m in my early thirties, but it just really depends,” Amy exclusively told Us in March 2024. “I feel like we’ve had a beautiful year and we definitely want to keep continuing to do stuff within our marriage, traveling and just exploring each other and the world together.”

Amy further noted that she and Johnny both wanted to wait another “three to four” years before trying to conceive.

“Whenever the time does come when we’re both like, ‘Hey, we’re ready now,’ that’s what we’re going to shoot for,” Johnny told Us at the time, praising their communication efforts overall. “We try to talk about everything, and we want to make sure that we are not the type of people who just kind of brush things under the rug.”
