Imrul Hassan Announces His Exit from Summer House After Season 9

Imrul Hassan has confirmed his exit from Summer House. The Hamptons housemate appeared on Season 9 of the show and shared the news of his departure on June 18 in a statement he posted on Instagram Stories.

"I meant to share this last week, but with everything going on, the timing didn't feel quite right. I've decided not to return for another season of Summer House - I know, shocking! It was an incredible opportunity, and I truly had a lot of fun. I won't drag this out, but I want to say thank you for all your support - and for supporting my foundation as well. A special shoutout to my castmates for their generous donations and for helping spread the word," he wrote in his statement, which mentions his charity work and also hinted at the recent passing of his father.

His statement continued: "Overall, it was a really good experience. Would recommend. Much love, Imrul Beast."

Paige DeSorbo and Lexi Wood announce their exits from the Summer House cast

The news of Imrul's exit following the finale of Season 9 of Summer House comes after it was previously confirmed that cast members Paige DeSorbo and Lexi Wood are also leaving the show. 

Summer House Season 9 wrapped up in June 2025 with a two-part reunion as well as a special episode billed as Under the Covers.

Inside Imrul Hassan's charity work and career

As mentioned, Imrul is also an active philanthropist who raises money through his foundation for education and English schools in Bangladesh, where he was born. In a post on Instagram back in April, he wrote about using his platform to better the world around him: "Be the change you want to see. If not us, then who?"

Imrul also works as a real estate broker in New York City, where he currently resides. According to his professional bio, Imrul has "a track record of three years dedicated to assisting buyers, sellers, renters, and landlords" in his job in real estate.
