Insider Reveals if Sara & Ben From Love Is Blind Season 8 Are Still Together After the Show

Love Is Blind season 8 viewers are raising the red flags after watching Sara and Ben’s love story begin in the early episodes of the latest season so here’s what we know about whether they’re still together.

Sara Carton, a 29-year-old oncology nurse, and 27-year-old account executive, Ben Mezzenga, got off to a rocky start in the pods when they both reveal differing viewpoints on some major political issues.

Ben reveals that he was raised in a Christian household but Sara is not religious at all. Thankfully, she was quick to confirm that Ben would be accepting of her sister, who is gay. However, issues arose later when Sara opened up about the social movements that are “really important” to her. Ben says he is “kind of ignorant towards that stuff,” and “didn’t vote in the last election.” When Sara explicitly asks about the Black Lives Matter movement and George Floyd, Ben adds that he prefers to “keep out of it,” a pretty surprising stance for someone who lives in Minneapolis where Floyd was murdered.

Sara and Ben did get engaged in episode six and certainly appear to be in love on their vacation. But things got rocky in the most recent episodes of the show, which released on Feb. 21, when Sara comes across a TikTok posted by a woman Ben dated in his past who claims he “manipulated” her.

Ben claims he just ghosted the woman but assure Sara nothing more sinister happened. She agrees to take him at his word but remains skeptical, warning him that she won’t trust him if more details come to light.

We do know of one Love Is Blind season 8 couple who got married on the show but with this rocky beginning, it’s hard to imagine Sara and Ben tying the knot. Here is what we know.

Are Sara & Ben From ‘Love Is Blind’ Still Together?

Sara and Ben are rumored to have ended their engagement during the filming of Love Is Blind season 8 which took place in February and March 2024.

The rumors circulated on TikTok after a woman, Andra, who claims to have dated one of the men on the show, presumably the same woman mentioned in new episodes of the show, revealed what she knew about the outcome of his romance. Though she doesn’t mention Ben by name, she mentions played baseball at the University of Minnesota and worked as a realtor, two facts that apply to Ben.

Andra reveals that she heard from mutual friends that the man she dated “ends up getting engaged to one of the girls” on the show but things took a turn when they came back to Minneapolis. “Girls in this city started coming forward with horror stories about him and thank goodness… that information got to her.”

“His plan was to go all the way to the altar and then say ‘no’ in front of everyone but, unfortunately, the pastor guy asked her first and she said ‘no,'” she claims.

Andra’s claims are all alleged and we won’t know the outcome of Ben and Sara’s relationship until more episodes of Love Is Blind air. Sara and Ben do currently follow each other on Instagram but have not liked any of each other’s recent posts.
