Taleen Marie addressed a rumor that Real Housewives of Dubai is about to be canceled and that the announcement is on the horizon. So far, the two seasons of the show have had less-than-stellar ratings, though many fans claim it’s better than people realize.
Taleen joined the show in season two as Caroline Brooks’ friend, though they quickly fell out as the season progressed. As of now, it’s unclear whether Brooks and Taleen will get back to the friendship they once had, though they suggested in the reunion that they’re open to a potential reconciliation.
Bravo account @Bravo_Crave recently posted a rumor about the fate of Real Housewives of Dubai.
“Word on the street is that #RHODubai cancellation is about to be announced,” wrote the page, via @tasteof_reality on Instagram. “Shame, I actually really liked these girls and enjoyed both seasons.”
Taleen then addressed the allegation in the comments.
“Not true,” she said simply.
In a past interview with Decider, Brooks addressed Taleen’s sudden alliance with Caroline Stanbury throughout the season.
“I fell out with Stanbury because of Taleen,” she said. “Caroline Stanbury did not want her on the show. Nina Ali and Sara Al Madani and me and Caroline Stanbury all know that’s the truth. We have a group chat together. Stanbury did not want her on The Real Housewives of Dubai.”
Brooks then suggested that Stanbury had ulterior motives.
“Stanbury was mad at me for going hard, sticking up for Taleen, then became friends with Taleen just to spite me — not because she actually gives a hoot about that girl,” Brooks went on. “[But] Taleen’s personality is not going to jive well with Stanbury in the long term. I know this, she’s too much for her, you know what I mean? And she’s trying to be the center of attention. Caroline wants to be the center of attention … That’s why I said, ‘Let Taleen burn,’ in the last episode. She’ll burn. If me and Stanbury make up, Taleen and Stanbury’s friendship is done.”
Season two of The Real Housewives of Dubai recently concluded.
