It’s Over! Ashley Jones Finalizes Divorce From Bar Smith; ‘Teen Mom’ Star Awarded Sole Legal & Physical Custody of Couple’s Daughter

Teen Mom Family Reunion's Ashley Jones confirms she & Bar Smith secretly got MARRIED but admits relationship is 'rocky' | The US Sun

According to The Sun, the Teen Mom star’s divorce was granted on Wednesday, the same day she appeared at a hearing in Nevada alongside a “domestic violence advocate.”

In her court filing, Ashley– who filed for divorce in August 2024– stated she was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of Bar in July 2024, along with “at least seven other times.” During this week’s hearing, the court reportedly stated that it found “clear and convincing evidence” that Bar “is a perpetrator of domestic violence,” before ultimately granting the former couple’s divorce.

It is listed as “uncontested,” meaning Bar did not attempt to fight the divorce.

Ashley and Bar’s divorce comes just weeks after Bar was released from jail after nearly eight months behind bars. As The Ashley previously told you, Bar landed in the clink following an incident in July 2024 with Ashley that resulted in him being arrested and charged with four felonies– including kidnapping and residential burglary– and a misdemeanor.

A felony for each brow, if you will.

While it was noted by the judge this week that Ashley had made Bar aware of Wednesday’s hearing– via phone and a parenting app – Bar was not in attendance at the hearing when the divorce was finalized.

In addition to her divorce being granted this week, Ashley was also awarded sole legal and physical custody of her and Bar’s daughter Holly, while Bar will be allowed supervised visitation with the six-year-old.

Ashley reportedly informed the court this week that, while she requested supervised visitation for her ex, he is “currently on probation in California as well as probation in Nevada so she is not sure how that visitation would occur.”

(Ashley and Holly currently live in Nevada, while Bar has remained in California following his release from jail.)

She also claimed that Bar has not seen Holly since November, and while arrangements were reportedly made for Bar to call Holly via the parenting app twice a day, Bar “has not been able to do so.”

“UM!! Clearly I’ve been BUSY!”

The court ordered that Bar’s supervised visitation be left up to Ashley, with all communication between the two taking place through the parenting app. Bar was also ordered to pay Ashley $100 in child support per month beginning April 1. Meanwhile, Ashley will provide health insurance and claim Holly on her taxes.

Thursday afternoon, Ashley took to her Instagram Story hinting that she was celebrating her new single status by going on vacation.

“Vacay prep,” she wrote. “So ready to gtf😂.”

Bar has not yet addressed the divorce/custody hearing publicly. He did, however, post a video on Thursday to Instagram showing himself singing into a vacuum, so there’s that…

As you do…

On Wednesday, though, he did address how long it’s been since he’s seen Holly. In the caption of a photo that he noted is “old,” Bar apologized to his daughter.

“I miss my baby so much,” he wrote. “Been a whole year, I’ll see you soon though baby, soon as all this s**t is fixed, sorry ain’t make the best decisions and I let them [pigs] put me in a cell for so long.”
