Muhammad Ali’s daughter weighs in on Mike Tyson’s boxing comeback
Despite the huge monetary success, Tyson will gain from his fight against the 27-year-old, his performance in the ring has been scalded by former multiple-weight world champion, Terence Crawford who claimed he looked ‘trash’.
Not only that but Muhammad Ali’s daughter, Rasheda Ali Walsh spoke to Fox News following the historical fight, stating that her father would’ve been ‘mortified’ at Tyson making the money he has made from his comeback.
“My dad really did go outside of his comfort zone and he was the first boxer to actually fight a wrestler so back then it was kind of like, we can intertwine different types of techniques and combat sports can come together.
“(The event) was exciting and I thought it was really cool to see Mike in the ring again, it was awesome. Daddy wanted people to spend money to watch him fight, boxers didn’t make money like Tyson’s making.
“Daddy would’ve been mortified because back then boxers didn’t make that much, they were fighting for their lives,” Ali’s daughter continued.
