Jalen Hurts' Mom Sends Strong Message After Eagles' Super Bowl

   

Jalen Hurts has officially etched his name in the history books, being named the Super Bowl LIX MVP after leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. 

The Eagles avenged their previous Super Bowl LVII defeat from the Chiefs, who defeated Philadelphia 38-35 two years ago.

Following the win for Philadelphia, Jalen Hurts' mother, Pamela Hurts, took to social media, flexing her son's Super Bowl achievement. 

"Me returning to work after my 2nd Super Bowl and Disney World, knowing that my MVP QB son is a World Champion," said Pamela Hurts. 

Jalen Hurts finished the win for the Eagles with two touchdowns and 221 yards, completing 17-of-22 pass attempts. He also served as the leading rusher en route to winning Super Bowl MVP, posting one touchdown and 72 yards on the ground. 

The Eagles quarterback led the offense to a total of 345 yards and 21 first downs. 

The Eagles capped off the season with four playoff victories: Green Bay Packers (Wild Card Round), Los Angeles Rams (Divisional Round), Washington Commanders (NFC Championship Game) and Kansas City Chiefs (Super Bowl LIX). 

Philadelphia was 18-3 on the year, riding the success of Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley during their Super Bowl run.
