Jax's Bar Is Getting a “Revamp” With Help From Brock Davies & Tom Schwartz

Tom Schwartz Spills On Vanderpump Rules Cast Relationships Today

Is Schwartz and Jaxy’s in our futures? Jax Taylor weighed in on the possibilities during The Valley Season 2 After Show as he mulled a makeover for his namesake bar, Jax’s Studio City. It came after Brittany Cartwright admitted she’s no longer involved with Jax’s bar.

“They started saying that they wanted to rebrand Jax’s. And they wanted me to have nights there and Jax have nights there,” Brittany shared on the After Show. “I said, ‘I appreciate it…but I’m not going into business with him ever again.’”

That meant Jax and the investors decided on a new move.

“We have this idea. We’re going to do a revamp. A remodel of Jax’s,” he explained. “I think because of my new [stance] on things. The way my sobriety...and the pressure of having my name on the bar is a lot. I kind of want to step down a little bit.”

He also added he wants to rename the bar, prompting a producer to ask on the After Show, “Schwartz and Jaxy’s?”

“Oh, God,” responded Tom Schwartz, whose bar with Tom Sandoval, Schwartz and Sandy's, closed in 2024.

How is Tom Schwartz getting involved in Jax Taylor's bar?
Jax turned down the idea of naming the bar Schwartz and Jaxy’s, explaining, “I want the bar to live on its own. Live on its own name, without me, or anybody.”

However, Jax shared he does want to use Schwartz’s expertise at Jax's Studio City.

“Obviously, I love Schwartz and Sandy’s,” Jax explained. “He’s got a really good design feel. And he’s got really good ideas.”

Jax revealed he asked his partners to bring Schwartz in on the “revamp”—and that isn't the only person he tapped.

Why Jax Taylor wants to team up with Brock Davies on his bar revamp
Jax shared he asked a surprising person to join in on the Jax’s Studio City makeover: Brock Davies.

“Maybe I should break bread with Brock a little bit,” Jax explained on the After Show. “I haven’t been the nicest guy in the world to him. I know he loves to do this ‘do-it-yourself sh—t’ on his Instagram all the time. He’s pretty good at it. He really is.”

Brock has been documenting his DIY work to his new home with Scheana Shay on his social media. Although Brock was hesitant to help out at Jax’s bar, Scheana thought it might be a good move.

“I said, ‘I think it would benefit Jax,’” Scheana said on the After Show. “Which, anything that can help Jax be a better person is going to ultimately help Cruz and give Brittany some peace in her life. I don’t think for one second Brittany’s going to be upset if Brock is helping some stuff at the bar and doing positive things that keep Jax in a good place.”

Brock shared he might have some “limitations” on the work he can accomplish at Jax’s bar, but called Jax involving him “a great olive branch.”

“It’s not going to be Schwartz and Jax and Brocky’s?” a producer asked of the bar, to which Brock responded, “No, I don’t think I’m going down the bar route."

Schwartz also added that he was done with bars for now.

“I’m a little burnt out," he said on the After Show. "I think I’m a little traumatized. I’ll be honest."
