Apparently, Brittany Cartwright was having some fun with someone close to Jax Taylor!
As Perezcious readers will recall, the 45-year-old reality star entered into an inpatient mental health facility over the summer, saying he wanted to work on his “serious anger issues” and “get better” for the former couple’s 3-year-old son Cruz. However, it turns out there was much more to the story behind him seeking treatment.
According to Page Six on Tuesday, Brittany Cartwright began hooking up with one of his friends shortly after announcing their separation in February! What?! Who was it? No, not one of the Toms! The outlet reported she had a “casual” physical relationship with basketball player-turned-actor Julian Sensley, who used to work the door at TomTom.
The pair apparently only hung out in private, but don’t expect to see them out and about moving forward. Their fling is already over! Julian is apparently back with his former partner again. A source explained to Page Six that he and his now-fiancée were “on and off” and were “going through a rough time” when he and Brittany hooked up. No word on how his fiancée feels about him hooking up with Britt.
But when Jax found out his estranged wife and pal were together? The outlet claimed he “went berserk!” In fact, it impacted him so much that it pushed him to seek mental health treatment.

We understand it’s hard for someone to see their former spouse move on, but Brittany left. After a LOT of second chances. She’s allowed to date and hook up when she wants to after they broke up. Was it the best idea to get with his friend? Maybe not. But hey, Jax has done worse things while he was still with Brittany. Like, say, cheating…
Innerestingly, we heard about a potential romance between Brittany and a mystery man earlier this year! Back in June, Jax wrote in a since-deleted post on X (Twitter):
“you may want to ask brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months….”
Was that post about Brittany and Julian? Given what we know now, there’s a strong chance that the answer is YES! But we’ll find out more about this whole drama soon. Page Six reported that it will play out on Season 2 of The Valley. Between the divorce, Kristen Doute‘s engagement, and the hookup debacle, the upcoming season is shaping up to be a wild one!
